Working with Amber of Amber Whitecliffe for our wedding was an absolute dream.

I had heard about her work and was also a frequent visitor to her website, so when she got in touch with me to organize our first consultation I was beyond excited. Despite being extremely busy, Amber is so incredibly organised and she made this process very easy for us, even keeping the shop open one evening so I could bring in my girls at a time that suited them.

Meeting Amber in store was wonderful, Amber is the most gentle and beautiful soul and you always feel so calm in her presence which is exactly what every bride needs. I instantly felt relaxed and just so happy that we were lucky enough to be working with her.

All of Ambers dresses are stunning and you can tailor the styles to fit what suits each girl the best. In the first consultation, we decided on a beautiful champagne blush colour in a fabric, which draped stunningly and the girls were as in love with their dresses as I was. Once we had chosen the style and colour, Amber sketched out the cut and style of each dress, measured up the girls and we were on our way! Too easy, no stress at all, just pure excitement.

Fittings were also a breeze with Ambers amazing team at hand to tweak and make any necessary adjustments to ensure each bridesmaid dress fitted perfectly. I really appreciated Ambers constant support thought this process, she would often give me a call or email to check in and let me know were she was at with the dresses and what the next step would be. She also made some great suggestions, like the addition of hand made pocket squares for the groomsmen, made from the same material as the bridesmaid’s dresses. This addition really lifted the entire bridal parties look and worked so well with the boys outfits.

I could not recommend Amber highly enough, she was so supportive, easy to work with, so professional and a true expert.

Christine's Tip:

Y ou will definitely have a colour in mind for your dresses before you find them, however be careful that this pre-set idea of what you like doesn’t limit you finding the right match!
I
had decided that I always wanted my bridesmaids in white and was totally set on this idea but this changed very quickly when I realised this actually wasn’t the best match for their tones.
Be open to change even if it may mean throwing your original ideas out the window.
