We spoke to Kim as Wicken prepares for the catwalk, to find out more about the Kiwi jewellery brand that works with the beauty and healing powers of crystals.

Why are you excited to show your collection to brides and grooms of the 2018/19 season?

I’m excited to show my collection to brides and grooms because I think Wicken jewellery offers a unique alternative to traditional diamond rings. Our designs have a deeper meaning to them using the power of crystals to harness the love and energy of your relationship.

Can you tell us about some key pieces and detailing that we’ll see on the runway?

The Wicken Love Nest ring is set in a stunning pink topaz which is known to bring good fortune in love and enhances the heart chakra! Our signature ‘nest’ ring design represents building a life together and keeping your love protected and strong.

What do you hope brides take away from the show?

What I hope brides take away from the show is that they don’t have to always follow the rules! Just be yourself! Wear what makes you feel your most empowered, most beautiful and natural self. Empower your Inner Goddess!

When you’re not working, where would we find you and what would you be doing?

Even in my spare time I’m often working on new designs and ideas but when I get some downtime I enjoy relaxing with my family or catching up with friends.
