    Christine & Duncan

I first met Christine on the school bus when she was just nine. We’ve been together 11 years and are more than ready to say “I do”. I’m even willing to shave my beard!

What’s your pet peeve about your partner?

Christine: He’s a clean-freak, teetering on OCD. Great for the cleanliness of our flat, not so much for my sanity! Also, beard.

Duncan: She misplaces her personal belongings and accuses me of moving them... before realising where she actually put them.

Describe your partner in three words:

    Christine: Thoughtful, loyal, compassionate.

    Duncan: Hardworking, compassionate and caring.

    Hannah & Allister

We met at a yoga speed-dating event called ‘Namas-dating’. Allister won me over with his good looks, while I offended him with my opening remark... At least I made an impression.

What’s your favourite thing to do together on the weekend?

Go for a scoot (we have adult scooters, with newly installed bells) along Mission Bay; and we stop to pat all the dogs. We are hoping to adopt our own rescue fur baby in the next
    few weeks!

Describe your partner in three words:

Allister: There isn’t a word that describes how amazing she is!

    Hannah: Warm, proud and assertive.

    Georgia & James

We met three years ago on Tinder. After being told we may have difficulty conceiving, 18 months later we were engaged and expecting our daughter, Mackenzie!

How do you envisage your weddIng?

A fun, relaxed, light-hearted affair. For us, getting married is not so much about the style or any specific theme. We could get married anywhere because it’s about celebrating and sharing our love with our nearest and dearest.

Describe your partner in three words:

    James: Loving, loyal, mischievous.

    Georgia: Outgoing, dependable, warm-hearted.

    Naomi & Richard

Only six months into our relationship I was struck by a car, losing my leg and hospitalised for four months. Richard was with me every day of my recovery. He proposed on our first anniversary.

What would wInnIng a 60K weddIng mean to you?

The last nine months have pushed us beyond what we thought we could ever handle, but at the same time showed us that together, we are stronger than anything life can
    throw at us.

Describe your partner in three words:

    Richard: Courageous, loving, beautiful.

    Naomi: Supportive, loyal, incredible.

    Rachel & Brad

After the tragic loss of my first husband I was incredibly lucky to have the chance to find love for a second time with Brad. He romantically flew me to the top of a mountain in Queenstown via helicopter, before getting down on one knee to propose.

What’s your favourite thing to do together on the weekend?

If we’re not off on an adventure weekend it’s coffee, breakfast and taking our dog for a walk.

Describe your partner in three words:

Rachel: He is romantic, supportive, honest (to a fault at times).

Brad: She is sexy, supportive and brave.
