Totara Hospice Opens The Wedding Loft

Totara Hospice in South Auckland has opened its first ever concept wedding shop – The Wedding Loft.

Featuring a wonderful range of wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, ball gowns, grooms attire, flower girl and page boy outfits, shoes and more, Totara Hospice's Wedding Loft is a one-stop-shop for brides who simply can't afford to buy attire from designer stores and boutiques.

Laura Marshall, Head of Retail shared that “We had an amazing range of dresses and wedding outfits, however they were spread through all six of our stores – our customers were having to travel across the region to see what they can find! Now, we are a one stop shop!”

We know that a lot of brides-to-be simply can’t afford to buy something brand new but still want to look and feel amazing on their wedding day. However, if you were to look at the range available you will see that we even have some brand new dresses donated – there is a fabulous selection of different sizes, styles and shapes available.

Some of our donated dresses are “pre-loved” donated by brides who want to see them dance another day. Some are even donated directly from bridal salons, as brand new! The best part of all is that the money made from the sales at The Wedding Loft Make Hospice Happen in your community.

“We are so excited about the opening of The Wedding Loft” adds Tina McCafferty, CE of Totara Hospice, “we see it as a fantastic and innovative way to both raise awareness and funds for Totara Hospice in the spirit of Living Every Moment; celebrating milestones of love, family and memories together and supporting a great cause.”

We also hope people will consider donating their wedding attire, we are challenging those out there that have been married – Did you get married for Good? If so consider donating your outfit to The Wedding Loft.
