Our Win Your Dream Wedding 2015 winners will be whisked away to a tropical paradise courtesy of Air Vanuatu. Read on to discover the best bits about travelling with a dedicated airline.
How many times a week does Air Vanuatu fly from New Zealand to Vanuatu?
Twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The flight time is around three hours.
What other destinations do you travel to?
Vanuatu is our hub and from there we fly to Sydney and Brisbane in Australia. We also fly to Nadi in Fiji, Noumea in New Caledonia, and code share with Solomon Airlines to Honiara in the Solomon Islands, and with Air Niugini to Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea.
What’s the best way to get a great deal on a honeymoon?
Speak to your local travel agent or book your flights with us directly on our website. There are plenty of accommodation options on our site as well – let the hotel know you’re on your honeymoon and ask if they have any honeymoon packages going at the time of your intended travel.
What should newlyweds not forget to pack when visiting a tropical destination?
Sunblock, a hat, and a light long-sleeved shirt and pair of jeans for the evening. Insect repellent also comes in handy. And don’t forget to bring your sense of fun and adventure!
What should they expect when they step on the plane?
Warm, friendly smiles from the cabin crew and great service. Air Vanuatu is a full-service airline, so with the price of your ticket, you also get your drinks, meals, entertainment and a 23kg baggage allowance.
And when they step off?
The same genuine smiles, laughter and general friendliness in the air. And if you’re lucky, your hotel will provide goodies for you on check-in too!
