Looking for a videographer? Allow us to introduce our favourite new find.
There’s a certain genius to crafting a memorable and watchable wedding video: a good one needs spellbinding, dynamic imagery wielded by a talented editor who knows what to do with it. It’s a delicate balance of sentimentality and skill, and it’s why we have a certain appreciation for filmmakers that nail it.
Case in point is Moving Films, operated by Auckland husband-wife duo, Shanel and Grayham Hall who call upon their film and television contacts when they need extra hands. In their time at the helm of the company, they’ve captured everything from stunning weddings and celebrations, to corporate occasions and even a royal wedding.
With an emphasis on cinematic film-making, each video the team is entrusted with captures the sights and sounds of special highlights – somehow, they capture the little moments that could otherwise slip away unnoticed.
There is no rigid formula to Moving Films’ creations, a sentiment made clear through the sheer diversity of couples that recruit the team. Each video is crafted from scratch to convey the spirit of identity of the celebration at hand – the only common thread from film to film being a crispness and quality to the aesthetic and flow. Watch a clip for yourself – you’ll see exactly what we mean.
The Moving Films team will be at the Grand Wedding Show this Sunday – get tickets here to meet them!
